Est. 2017 on Stevens Creek Boulevard, Must Be Thai began with a simple idea: bring the flavors of Thailand’s four regions together in one place. Our original menu invites guests to explore the country through its food, from Northern specialties to Southern curries, alongside the familiar comfort of home-style Thai cooking.

We traveled throughout Thailand, from north to south, learning local cooking traditions and discovering the recipes, ingredients, and techniques behind the dishes we love. Those experiences continue to inspire what we bring to the table.

Our San Pedro location carries that regional spirit into downtown San Jose, with a menu shaped around the neighborhood’s energy throughout the day. Weekend Thai brunch, street food lunches, and shareable evening dishes offer different ways to explore our cooking, with craft cocktails and wine chosen to complement the flavors.
